buildings in the compounds, shall be provided for by
Government order.
Article 13.
Religious bodies which are juridical
persons must register as required by Imperial Ordinance.
Matters, which require to be registered
in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph,
cannot be set up against third persons except after regis-
tration.
Article 14.
With the exception of matters for which
provision is made in this law necessary matters in cases of
the dissolution or amalgamation of religious bodies shall be
provided for by Imperial Ordinance.
Article 15.
The provisions of Articles 43, 44, 50,
paragraph 1 of 51, 54, 57, and 75 to 83 of the Civil Code
and Articles 24, 26, and 27 of the Law regarding the
Enforcement of the Civil Cođe shall apply mutatia mutandis to
religious bodies which are juridical persons, and the
provisions of Articles 41 and 42 of the Civil Code, to temples
and to churches which are juridical persons. Provided
that the appointment of a special representative under the
provisions of Article 57 of the Civil Code shall be in
accordance with the regulations governing the sect, denomi-
nation, temple or church.
Article 16.
When the propagation of a religious doctrine,
or the performance of ceremonies, or religious observances
as conducted by a religious body, or its preachers, disturb
public peace and order or are contrary to the duties
of a
subject, the competent Minister of State may restrict or
prohibit the same or may suspend the work of the preachers,
or may cancel the sanction for the establishment of the
religious body.
